Lavender Dried Bundles
Lavender Dried Bundles
These dried “field bundles” are minimally processed and ready for use. We cut them fresh, rubber band them together and hang to dry. You get to decide what to do with them from there - add to a bouquet of other dried flowers for a beautiful centerpiece? Make a wreath? Buy several for a ‘wow” impact arrangement? De-bud for crafting or bath and body products? Or gently remove some buds for culinary purposes? (English lavender only suggested due to the taste).
We offer several varieties of dried bundles from lavender grown right here on our farm without the use of chemicals or pesticides:
English lavender: short stemmed but with the darkest and most long-lasting color.
Hidcote - our “bride favorite” due to its dark purple color
Royal Velvet - our favorite for culinary use
Hybrid Lavendin “x-intermedia: bundles are long stemmed and have the best aroma.
Phenomenal - dense flowers, great scent
Gros Bleu - longest stems of all, more sparse flowers but bright and vibrant purple color, even when dried (the new bride favorite)
We may have some Riverina Thomas or Grosso varieties in limited quantities. Ask us directly if you’re looking for those.
Our hybrid variety (Gros Bleu and Phenomenal) have longer stems and are lighter in color, but really pack the punch from a scent perspective! They are great for crafting, decorating and a variety of other uses. Not recommended for culinary use.
The English varieties we carry, Royal Velvet and Hidcote, are shorter stemmed, have a much darker purple color, and both can be used in cooking and baking! We offer smaller bundles of culinary on the stem so you can keep it in your kitchen for decorative use, and then take the buds right off the stems when you are ready to cook with it!
