Welcome to our central Virginia lavender, Christmas tree, and honeybee farm!
Belle Rock Farm VA is a small Central Virginia farm in Fluvanna County, located between Charlottesville and Richmond. We are a boutique farm with several hundred Christmas trees, ~200 lavender plants and three honeybee hives.
Our mission is to bring a bit of peace and joy to others through items inspired by nature. Plus, everybody can use a little lavender in their life!

We are watching the trees closely, and we think we will have a small number of choose-and-cut Christmas trees ready for purchase this season! It takes 8-10 years to grow a Christmas tree, so we are very excited and grateful to get to this point in our journey.

“Are you open to the public?”
We get this question a lot.
We are not open to the public. However, we occasionally offer special events, such as lavender U-picks during the blooming season. These are usually for small groups by appointment or via a special event sign-up.

Giving back
Part of our mission to bring more peace and joy into the world is to give back, particularly in our local community, by donating products or a portion of our proceeds. For the past few years we have been contributing a portion of our proceeds to the Fluvanna Meals on Wheels and supporting the Fluvanna County High School baseball program.
We have also supported, through product donations, a variety of non-profit organizations over the years. There are so many great causes out there!
What products do we sell?
LAVENDER AND LAVENDER PRODUCTS
Handmade lavender products make wonderful gifts for Mother’s Day, birthdays, anniversaries and holidays - or simply to make any day special (even as a gift to yourself)!
We offer a variety of lavender products including bath and body products (soaps, lotions, room/linen spray), lavender-filled fabric items such as neck wraps, eye pillows and dryer sachets; sachet pouches; baking mixes (super yummy!); dried lavender bundles and more! LOCAL RAW HONEY
Locally made by our resident honeybees, our thick, rich and robust honey is one of a kind! Although the hives are located close to the lavender, our bees feed on a variety of wildflowers and trees. The color and flavor of the honey is based on what’s blooming at the time, so no two batches are the same - but they are always tasty! FRESH HANDCRAFTED WREATHS from Central Virginia
We make and sell handcrafted Christmas wreaths using fresh, Virginia-grown greenery from late November through mid-December. We take pre-orders for wreaths in early to mid-November, and are often sold out by Thanksgiving - before they are even made! We offer wreath shipping across the continental US, but can arrange local pickup for Charlottesville, Richmond, Fluvanna or Louisa County.

Natural alternatives: Looking for a more natural alternative to chemical filled bug spray? Our seasonally available Bye Bye Buggies Outdoor Body Spray contains lemon eucalyptus and lavender essential oils!
Culinary: You can cook and bake with lavender? Oh yes! How to make a purchase:

Local pickup:
Local pickup is available at our farm by appointment only.

In some cases (especially for wreaths), if you are in Charlottesville, the west end of Richmond, Fluvanna County or the Louisa area - we may be able to meet you at a mutually agreed upon location for delivery (for a small fee). Please contact us directly to inquire.
Processing:
Orders are usually processed and shipped within 4-5 business days (except for wreaths and custom orders, they will take longer). Please let us know if your order is urgent and we will do our best to expedite it.
Shipping:
We understand that paying shipping costs can be frustrating, especially in the current climate of "free" shipping (which is often factored into the product price or part of a subscription, so it’s not really “free”). However, packaging and shipping lavender products and wreaths can be quite costly.
We generally charge a flat shipping fee of $10 to cover our expenses, except for holiday wreaths, which are charged a flat fee of $18. We typically use USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground for shipping. Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee (details provided at checkout).
For local customers who wish to pick up their orders at the farm, there is no shipping or handling fee.
We currently ship to the continental US only.
