Lavender, Wreaths, and More!
Welcome to our central Virginia lavender, Christmas tree, and honeybee farm!
We are a small boutique farm with ~600 Christmas trees, 200 lavender plants and 3 Honeybee hives growing on our farm.
Our goal is to bring a bit of peace, beauty and joy into the world through items inspired by nature. Plus, everybody can use a little lavender in their life!
whats new:
We will be filling orders through 12/21/2024 (for farm pickup), then closed for the season until mid-spring 2025
2024 Holiday Wreath preorders are now CLOSED!
Thank you to all who ordered wreaths this year! We appreciate your support! We may still be making a few more unique and special wreaths which we will post on social media (Facebook, Instagram) as they are ready for sale. We may also have a few at the Palmyra Arts Fest on December 14. Let us know if you want us to save you one!
PLUS - thanks to our amazing honeybees, we are restocked with 4 and 8 oz jars of our beautiful natural raw honey!

“Are you open to the public?”
We get this question a lot.
The lavender isn’t in bloom right now, and our Christmas trees aren’t quite big enough to be harvested yet - so we are currently not open to the public. But when we are - we are located approximately halfway between Charlottesville, VA and the west end of Richmond, VA.
However, please email us at BelleRockFarmVA@gmail.com or use the Contact Us form to let us know if you want to be put on our mailing list. You’ll be the first to know when we plan to be open to the public.
Giving back
Part of our mission to bring more peace and joy into the world is to give back, particularly in our local community, by donating products or a portion of our proceeds. For the past few years we have been contributing a portion of our proceeds to the Fluvanna Meals on Wheels and supporting the Fluvanna County High School baseball program.
We have also supported, through product donations, Onyx’s Dream, a non-profit organization who rescue horses and other large animal and the VA Wheelin’ Sportsmen, a chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federations who provides outdoor experiences for disabled individuals. There are so many great causes out there!
What products do we sell?
LAVENDER AND LAVENDER PRODUCTS
We offer a variety of lavender products including bath and body products (soaps, lotions, room/linen spray), lavender-filled fabric items such as neck wraps, eye pillows and dryer sachets; sachet pouches; baking mixes (super yummy!); dried lavender bundles and more! See more details below or click on “Shop Lavender Products” for more information and pictures!
LOCAL RAW HONEY
Locally made by our resident honeybees, our thick, rich and robust honey is one of a kind! Although the hives are located close to the lavender, our bees feed on a variety of wildflowers and trees. The color and flavor of the honey is based on what’s blooming at the time, so no two batches are the same - but they are always tasty!
FRESH HANDCRAFTED WREATHS
Although your Christmas trees will take a few more years before they are ready (5-8 years), we do make and sell handcrafted Christmas wreaths using fresh, VA grown greenery from late November through mid-December. We take pre-orders for wreaths in early-mid November, and are often sold out by Thanksgiving - before they are even made!
AND MORE!
We occasionally have some additional unique and fun items available (like our farm-grown loofah and gnome bottle toppers)! Follow us on Facebook or Instagram (@BelleRockFarm) for details, and sign up for our mailing list to be the first to know of new products and events!
Please Contact Us for more information.
Thank you for your business and your support!
NOW AVAILABLe:
DRIED LAVENDER BUNDLES FROM OUR FARM
DRIED lavender BUNCHES, locally grown AND hand harvested just for you!
We plant, weed, mow, harvest, dry and process all by hand, using no chemicals (check out our Facebook video of how to harvest a lavender plant!).
We have several amazing varieties to choose from:
English lavender - We grow Hidcote, Royal Velvet and Super Blue varieties of Angustifolias - sometimes called “English Lavender”. These have shorter stems but deeper colors, they not only look and smell amazing, but both can be used for culinary purposes! We also use these as “culinary buds on the bundle”. You can keep them in a vase in your kitchen and just pop off some buds when you need them! How simple is that?
Lavendins - aka hybrid or X-intermedia lavender - We grow Grosso, Phenomenal and recently added a few Riverina Thomas and Gros Bleu plants to our lavender beds. All of these varieties are long-stemmed and have that “I love lavender!” aroma! They are great for crafting, home decor and many other uses. These beauties seem to thrive in our central Virginia environment, so we plan to add more of these this year!

Orders are usually processed and shipped within 5 business days (except for wreaths and custom orders, they will take longer). Please let us know if your order is urgent and we will do our best to expedite it.
NOTE: In 2024, due to family obligations, our processing time may be longer. We will do our best to process your order ASAP.
Shipping:
Okay, let’s talk about shipping. If you’re like me, you probably hate to pay shipping costs! In this world of Amazon Prime (which you do pay for, by the way) we are used to getting free shipping. But packaging and shipping lavender products and wreaths can be very expensive!
We typically charge a flat shipping fee of $10 to cover our costs, except for holiday wreaths - they will be charged at actual shipping rate. We usually ship USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. If you need expedited shipping, that is available for an additional fee (see details at check out).
If you are local and want to pick up your order at the farm, there is no shipping or handling fee!
We currently ship to the continental US only.
